Taj - News and Press


Taj is currently in Post Production. An advanced edit of the film has been completed and this version (on DVD) is being used to obtain estimates from Audio and Video post production houses as well as a number of composers. This version will also be part of the funding submissions to Screen Australia, Film Victoria and the ABC referred to under the INVEST section. Potential investors may also request a copy of the DVD.

Article on Taj and it's Director Winston Furlong, featured in Beyond India Magazine.

Arthur Gugick, an award winning Lego builder from the USA, built the Lego Taj Mahal Lego model specifically for the film (for no fee) and brought it over to Melbourne last Christmas, where he mentored a local Lego builder on the model assembly/ de-assembly process needed for the film. Arthur, a high school maths teacher, devised a mathematical algorithm for the construction of the dome.  Refer www.mocpages.com/moc.php/57408 for more details.

Stacey Parks of Film Specific, USA, author of Insiders Guide to Film Distribution has been signed up as a mentor/consultant to Oziinda Films to assist with overseas distribtion and sales strategies.
